Contoh Simple Future Tense Super Lengkap!

A. Bentuk

Simple future tense adalah salah satu tense dalam bahasa inggris yang paling sering di gunakan untuk menyatakan sebuah keinginan atau rencana. Seperti pada umumnya tenses akan dibagi menjadi 3 bentuk dasar yaitu: negative, affirmatife, dan interrogative. Kata kerja yang digunakan dalam simple future tense adalah verb bentuk pertama, karena untuk semua kata kerja akan kembali ke bentuk pertama apabila di dahului dengan auxiliary verb dalam simple future yaitu “shall” atau “will”. Lalu bagaimana penggunaan shall dan will? Apakah kita dapat dengan bebas untuk membuah contoh simple future tense dengan auxiliary verb ini? Sebenarnya ada sedikit peredaan penggunan didalamnya. Untuk kalimat yang bersubjek I dan We dapat menggunakan shall atau will, akan tetapi untuk kalimat yang bersubjek selain I dan We (they, he, she, it, you) hanya dapat menggunakan ‘will’. Oo…ternyata begitu ya. ^_^ Namun dalam percakapan sehari-hari orang cenderung menggunakan ‘will’ untuk semua subjek. Berikut ini kami berikan beberapa contoh simple future tense sederhana:

I shall/will help my mother in the kitchen.

We shall/will try to solve this cube.

They will build a new house.

She will make a dress.

He will repair his motorcycle.

You will paint the gate

The sky is cloudy. It will rain.

Aris will post the parcel.

Berdasarkan contoh simple future tense diatas kita dapati adanya sebuah pola simple future tense. Yuk kita simak bersama-sama…..

1. Affirmative (Positif)

Bentuk positif ini adalah bentuk wajib yang harus diketahui untuk menguasai segala macam bentuk dalam sebuah kalimat. Untuk contoh simple future tense tentulah kita dapat dengan mudah menjawabnya dengan benar. Yuk langsung saja kita mulai dari bentuk positif! ^_^

Subject shall/will + verb 1

Contoh:

We shall water the flowers this afternoon.

You will have an English test tomorrow.

They will play football next week.

He will come to see me tomorrow morning.

Dahlan will return my book next Monday.

Agar lebih jelas, marilah kita perhatikan bagan berikut ini:

I	Shall	go to Bandar Lampung tomorrow

Sebagai tambahan pengetahuan tentang contoh simple future tense, dalam percakapan sehari-hari shall dan will sering disingkat menjadi ‘ll. Untuk lebih jelas kami berikan contoh simple future tense berikut ini:

We shall water the flower this afternoon.

Menjadi:

We’ll water the flower this afternoon.

You’ll have an English test tomorrow.

2. Negative (Negatif)

Jika kita telah memahami pola affirmative diatas tentu kita akan dapat dengan mengubah contoh simple future tense menjadi bentuk negative. Kita hanya perlu menambahkan kata ‘not’ setelah shall atau will.

Subject + shall/will + not + verb 1

Contoh:

We shall not water the flowers this afternoon.

You will not have an English test tomorrow.

They will not play football next week.

He will not come to see me tomorrow morning.

Dahlan will not return my book next Monday.

Satu lagi nih tambahan pengetahuan tentang contoh simple future tense, untuk ‘shall not’ dapat disingkat menjadi shan’t dan will not menjadi won’t. Oleh karena itu kita dapat menggunakan kedua bentuk yang ada dengan pola sebagai berikut:

Subject + shan’t/won’t + verb 1

Contoh:

We shan’t water the flowers this afternoon.

You won’t have an English test tomorrow.

They won’t play football next week.

He won’t come to see me tomorrow morning.

Dahlan won’t return my book next Monday.

3. Interrogative (Pertanyaan)

Lalu bagaimana dengan kalimat pertanyaan? Yup… untuk kalimat Tanya kita akan bagi menjadi 2 bagian utama, yaitu: positive interrogative dan negative interrogative. Lalu, kita cukup memindahkan kata ‘shall/will’ berada di depan kalimat (untuk positif interrogative). Lalu pola negative interrogative akan sedikit berbeda. Nah untuk lebih jelasnya mari kita lihat pola berikut ini: ^_^

 Positive Interrogative

Shall/will + Subject + verb 1

negative interrogative

Shall/will + Subject + not + verb 1 Shan’t/won’t + Subject + verb 1

Tanpa berlama-lama lagi, yuk langsung saja kita gunakan pada kalimat agar pola diatas menjadi lebih jelas. Yuk Mari..! ^_^
